The poor guy was screaming in total fear! I would have loved to play the part of one of those zombies though.
That was awesome... But notice his "real life" experience was where he was wicked scared. But once he thought it was either a dream or a really good game he was fine...

I'm sure it was real however something would have been arranged beforehand. I bet he signed an agreement that he would be hypnotised but not told when or how. This was a complete suprise to him but I think it's obvious they used his mates to get him to that pub.
That was so incredible. Reminds me of Res Evil, when it's 2:30 in the am and pitch black, you always get too involved in the game. But actually being in the game, then waking back to reality? Oi! Mr Brown, do a HL2 version and send me an invite! How s**t scary would that be? Better yet, do it with Playboy Mansion. bg
so let me get this right. The guy goes in to play the game he gets hypnotized by playing the game and while hes more or less out of it they move him to an exact replica in real life of the game he was playing and wake him up. Obviously he is under the impression hes in the real game and is scared out of his wits and right before he has a heart attack (IMO) he gets re hypnotized and transported back to the arcade game where nothing has changed? Thats messed up as hell. assuming no actual harm would come to me that would sound fun but there in lies the problem of i cant know that no harm will come to me. ccccrrrraaaazzzyyyy!
you say that now, but you could end up doing anything Derren brown is an awesome entertainer, and obviously incredibly clever. His shows are great, and i was thinking just recently - does he actually do any of the stuff, or is part of his cleverness cheating and just having us all think otherwise!? Baffling. Anyway, apparantly he's banned from any casino anywhere (or maybe just the UK ?)
Derren Brown is a very very scary guy. I have to wonder if he's ever tempted to try organised crime or something, the bit where he walks to a booth at the greyhound tracks with a losing ticket and just says "this is a winning ticket" and gets a payout...imagine the sort of stuff you could do if you were him
