Id love to put my hands on that thing!! Say, -42 without any heat, does that give around -5 aprox -10 in load OC'ing? Cheers!
Yup she was a great went overseas that one sold As for the frosting I have a controler on it now I will post more pics monday or so when I get some more insulation and elec bits Oh I may post the other project I am working on Project SLY ONE its a duel sli unit made with two micro chilly1 heads
I am still awaiting some insulation to turn up so did some pollishing the chassis was in a poor state when it turned up so..... had to make some custom panels out of uv reactive acrylic I also mounted the power socket and a switch in the rear This is the controler so it will be fully adjustable ie no condensation cooling or UBER COOLING with condensation a plenty
I thnk you haven't said it befor, so I'll ask it. Where did you get the thingy from? I know, that theres a company that makes those, but still asking. Cool temps btw.
The original unit was a mach1 prometeia I purchased it for the chassis that I used on another project, that project got sold an I was left with the prometeia with no case so I started to play around with it and made a water cooler And now a person who wishes to purchase this unit has sent me a mach1 chassis to mount it into so basicaly I will build it into that The new models are the ECT Mach2 gt's I normaly purchase all my stuff from Phil at extremeprometeia.com
That is so sweet i want i would not give to get my hands on that thing, good job and keep the good stuff rolling
Cheers guys I hope my insulation will turn up tomorrow then I can get on with mounting it all in the chassis
Well its all insulated but now the controller wont fit in the front where I wanted it to go loool so now I need to either move it up higher or mount it in the rear looool
I would but I need about 4 to 6 inches behind the display thats how long it is grrrrrrrr the other option is cut a smallish peice out of the case and mout the display up higher above the res
This is one interesting project you got here. Ill be sure to check this out once in a while. Hope there are gonna be some nice updates soon. Good work so far, and this is one hell of a extreme cooling for sure!
I've seen extremecooling and extremely nice-looking mods but thing I haven't seen before is those extremes together! U've really done some amazing job. I wouldn't dare to touch that expensive stuff
get the termo books out!.....ive got a thermo exam on friday and im all ready to tackle the refrigerator question, R134a tables YAY! though i still cant work with entropy too well
Cheers for the replys and interest guys I have put it on hold for a couple of days because I am being pushed to finnish project sly one a duel headed mach2 prometeia for cooling sli gcards But I will get some more pics together soon
