As some had already guessed the PSU had to be mounted to the front of case.

I was worried at first that there wouldn't be enough clearance between the motherboard and the PSU but fortunately it worked out just fine :thumb:

There are some work left on the PSU, like routing a power cable from the front to a plug at the back, but that's for the next update ;)

are you gonna have the power cable coming out of the front, or root cables round to the back and put in another power socket?

you probably should flip that psu's fans so it's an intake, or at least duct the rear fan to the side panel so it has some cool air

Yeah, just flip those fans around and that would solve that problem

If you install a new socket, make sure you remove the one up front, otherwise stray fingers will easily come in contact with live mains power :eeek:

I'm not sure it will be necessary since it will exhaust all the hot air through the front ventilation holes, but i'll keep it in mind.

    See pic :D

I assembled the Aquabay/Aquatube/Aquastream today as well:

Thanks man. Hope I have time to do some more work next week.

Since I mounted the radiator and the fans this weekend I just had to fire em' up ;)

Thats a really good idea for the psu, I might consider it in my PC60...

Looking great, can't wait for updates :)

A friend of mine donated an Antec Smartpower 500W to me. Since it's modular and can be fitted with 2x PCI-express connectors out of the box I thought it would replace the Powerstream for this project.

Here are some pics of the finished PSU-mounting:

To mount the plug at the back I cut a bit of acrylic to fit where the PSU used to be:

I don't think that would be visible with the front cover on, would it?

As some already said, it will be covered by the frontpanel. I had to shave off some of the plug to make it fit.
