Well, atleast you tried! :)
I'll just keep fighting it, untill i got the money for another board.. :)
XMP runs great both with 6GB and all 12GB installed - But as mentioned, the board reboots a single time when all 6 sticks are installed.....
Not even at 1066 theres more RAM to be seen..
Think i'm giving up on this board.. :(
Also, woth to mention maybe;
After i installed another...
Allready tried that with no change.. I'm just about to give up the motherboard and buying something else...
Exact model is not listed in the QVL - But nothing is listed af 6 modules anyway..
But i know that my exact model is supported in 12Gb...
Can't do that, regarding to the Manual - I did try!
"Due to Intel CPU spec difinition, the system will not boot if only one DIMM is installed...
I have no idea really..
Here's a Screenie, of Windows saying 8Gb like Bios also does, and CPU-Z that finds all 12Gb:
Ultimate x64 - So i should be able to have 192Gb usable.. :)
Well, i have no idea at all how to solve my problem..
It's the QPI/Dram you mean right? XMP profile sets it at 1.4000V - Even 1.5500V won't help..
I'm all new to X58, so no.. What should i increase it to? I'm running a stock 950:rock:
0602 is no good either.. I can't even find the Memory Recheck in BIOS..
I tried again with all kinds of settings and ****, no more than 8Gb can...
I've tried using the XMP, and manually setting the timings also with no luck.. I'll try downgrading to 0602 later. I've allready testet...
I have a Asus P6X58D-E, and 6x 2Gb (2x 6Gb kits) Corsair Dominator PC12800 with Modelnumber: CMP6GX3M31600C8.
BIOS + Windows only finds...
As writtin in #0 - m-ITX board. I only have 1x PCI-e x16 :)
You have a point there! I think i'll buy a converter from Ebay, and then "mod" it in to the case.. I just had some other plans for it.
I just thought it was possible to do something like this myself:
Hi guys! :)
I have an Silverstone SST-FP54 display laying around, brand new and unused, but now i'd like to use it for a change. But it's so...
I'm also concerned about ripping the chips of, and i won't try to remove the sinks, unless someone that has actually done it tells me how..
The sinks looks like this, if any doubt :)
I godt 4x 2Gig's of the CL5 Corsair XMS2, and they overclock like a charm. But, i'm not happy with the original childish Heatsink.
