heya all Sorry it took THIS long for me to get back to you all. here are some shots of the finished product :D (the cable looks like crap...
:D fzr250 is a good bike, atleast its 2 wheels ;) I own a Z1000 :P errr, going to try do the whole thing tonight, things got a bit hectic so...
well...5V popped 2 LEDs... so... can anyone tell that I havent done electronics since school O_O
ha ha ha... interesting analagy there mvagusta :D Phenoptix: I think for now im going to stick with the 2 that are already in there (same...
ok, so in conclusion, i could add a 100 - 150 ohm resistor onto a 5V positive line running from USB and all should be fine for the 2 white LEDS....
so the smaller the ohm, the higher the resistance? (you need to excuse me...the last time i did anything math wise for electronics was high...
well, looking at the pics i put up, how is the current system running?
the math of resistors confuses the shyt outa me O_O
thank you to all for the help so far :D so no point on me using the 470 ohm resistor i got then? :P
the LEDs in the original system are 2 white ones, will be replacing the 2 blown ones with another 2 white ones. if i add a 3rd LED, that one...
Nope, never noticed a difference. lol, ok, cool... so running a 80-100 ohm resistor on the + line into the system should be fine... Lets say i...
How come this doesn't happen when using the cells? (the one brighter than the other and the snowballing effect...) so theres no way of getting...
ok... im not going to re-wire how it already is (unless i REALLY need to), (space constraints in the fig) if u look at the pics I added, the 2...
so, what if instead of getting 2 100 ohm resistors, jut add one 200 ohm resistor on the + power line?
oh, one more thing... will the resistor generate alot of heat?? if it does I think it would be better put the resistor outside of the figurine....
ok, will give it a try, need to replace the 2 LEDs first... will a 470 be too much? wont it make the LEDs dimmer? whats the lowest resistor i...
ok, i took some pics so that you can all see whats going on :D here is the fig: [IMG] this is the rear (note the LED): [IMG] Back with...
there is no resistor whatsoever in the system, unless the switch itself is a resistor. the LEDs have a little brown spot in them. if i was...
i didnt add a thing, I just gave it power... I will take a pick of what it looks like inside tonight and post it up.
ok...did the mod, plugged it in ... GREAT! then a EYE POPPING 2 mins later.... DEAD! took the Issac figure appart and yup, both LEDs blown...
