well, don't know if this might help but when i had the original fans in my PC7, the intakes weren't nearly as loud as my thermaltakes now
well, so far i only managed to barely break 7000 in 3Dmark2001...

what heatsink/fan combo are you running and what temp. are you getting. I have thermaltake dragon and am running at 46 celsius idle and up to 53

ok, ram doesn't seem to be the problem, i tool each of them out individually and it performed the same. i'm a bit glad i'm getting rid of this...
yeah i did, exactly what i used arctic silver3. i checked the heatsink and it seems alright. So basically at this point, can i rule out defective...
ok so before i go run off to go buy another cpu fan, i'm going to check that my cpu heatsink is seated properly.
is the CPU temp of 48~52 celsius too high? What about the system temperature? do you think its the heatsinks fault?
