    is it happening all the time? or just when you skip to another part of the movie clip? just as you have opened up the file, press pause (spacebar)...

    Yes it should be no problems i have a NTFS HDD with my main OS on it (2k) and my other hdds are fat32 it reads them fine BUT i dont know about...
