    Yeah. No one really around with a spare XP disc.. Im thinking of just buying a cheap 5 gig HDD off of Ebay and just having it as the boot drive.

    I tried it with another OS (redhat 9) which worked perfectly so I dont really think it's a faulty drive..

    Hi, I built a comp a few weeks back and only now was I able to get XP home. You guessed right- it's not working. So.. I popped in the XP home...
