the minimal cd is exactly the same as the full cd but without stages or portage snapshots, i really dont see why fdisk wasnt working
gentoo... binaries... ha a stage3 would be fine and it really shouldnt take that long compared to some of the boxes ive installed it on
its a command line, everything is a manual install but its portage makes it much easier
