OK....Trouble. I just tried the new graphics card and it still wont POST. The CPU fan spins up but that about it.

I would say spalsh a little more cash and get the now mega cheap X1800XT. Alot of places now sell them for £170 including OCUK and I think eBuyer....

That slot is for adding a wireless/bluetooth card. Im afraid your stuck with the graphics chip that you have.
Why not check the temps in the BIOS, give you a more accurate reading.

You havnt used any thermal compound??? You really do need it, you CPU will heat up like hell without it.
