    Hi everyone.
This time with this Extreme Mod you i represent Italy in this great event.
Very hard challenge against 11 top modders selected among the best in the world, so for me a source of great satisfaction and pride.

I would like to start immediately by thanking @Tt Andy and all the Thermaltake staff for inviting me to this important event.

I also thank all the sponsors Thermaltake, AMD, Zotac, ASRock and Plextor who have provided support to all modders with incredible material.

I will not anticipate anything of the project because in a few days the event will start and you will see everything, the official presentation of the project in the next post.

So I invite everyone to follow the worklog in the coming months.
I would say however to start immediately with a first taste with some photos of the fantastic hardware that was provided to us by the sponsors.

Well guys today the competition officially starts.[IMG][IMG]
    .
Here is the render of the Project "Stealth" Advanced Attack Drone.

The idea born from my passion for aeronautical static modeling that I have since childhood.

Combining the shape of the original Core P5 V2 with the ideas I had in my mind came out this futuristic attack drone armed to the teeth.

In rendering there are not all the details (which are many) and that we will discover together as we go along with the progression of the works
    .
Very particular this time it will be the painting that involves the use of the airbrush in a heavy manner with painting techniques for modeling as the weathering.

Waiting for the remaining sponsor packs here are the photos.

    Stay tuned.

    The second sponsor pack arrived.

In addition to all the custom cooling, is also arrived the deadly Thermaltake Core P5 V2.

The material for the cooling system is, as always, of high quality and with a very attractive aesthetic impact.

The case after unboxing was presented as an indestructible metal ballast as Thermaltake has accustomed us to, the quality of the cases they produce is unquestionable.

Still a big thank for the sponsorship.

    Stay tuned.

    Ok let's go [IMG][IMG][IMG]

    Step 1.

Hi guys, here are the first images of the works.

In these photos we will see the manufacture of the new feet and the central body positioned in the center under the case.
As you can see I have also decided to put 2 gas pistons that in addition to aesthetics also have the function of keeping the P5 locked and in balanced perfect position.
Of course we are in the pre-assembly phase so everything is very rough and very far from what will be the final result.
Obviously then there are not all the details that I will carry out later

    Stay tuned.

    Ammo box.
In these photos we will see the realization of the 2 ammunition boxes for the Vulkan T2 heavy machine guns (in rendering the particular in question highlighted with the red arrow).
As you can see there are some openings on the side that were not present in the render, but later we will see what they are for and I anticipate you already that it is one of the many details that I had foretold in the course of work.

    Stay tuned.

MB tray cover realization, supports for the PSU cover and cap of the central body under the case.

A very demanding job from all points of view, given the complexity of the shapes and the myriad of diagonal cuts with different slopes, not to mention the opening of the slots for the passage of cables all milled with the Dremel.

There is no margin of error, everything must fit together perfectly, if you make a mistake you have to redo everything.

We can also glimpse the hand-made engraving on the cover of the MB tray (it is one of the many that we will see), the plate for the passage of each single 24-pin ATX sleeve cable in correspondence of the cable combs and the two basic supports on which it will be developed the PSU cover that we will see in the next post.

    Stay tuned.

As anticipated in the previous post, here is the realization of the psu cover.

In the photos we can see the various phases of the realization and in particular the opening in the upper part with internal edging to ensure that the upper RGB logo of the feeder (which shows the model and the power of this monster) is clearly visible.

Obviously it is not yet complete, because it must be realized the closing of the above indicated opening with a transparent plexy polished cover and other details that we will see later.

    Stay tuned.

Modification back panel and custom cover realization.

As we will see from the photos, the rear closing panel has been drastically modified.
In addition to having cut the grid for the original air expulsion (which will be replaced with a metal honeycomb), I also made a central opening to make the central logo light up with LEDs.
As we can see then, I made the entire cover of the panel completely by hand, and in addition to the 4 corner reliefs at the ends of the panel as in the render, I wanted to make the ejection grid even more aggressive by realizing other details.

    Stay tuned.

Pre-assembly of the Thermaltake Pacific PR 22 D5 Plus RGB tank / pump combo and realization of its stealth armor.

In the photos in sequence we can see all the processing steps and custom made parts.

A nerve-racking job given the myriad of pieces to be made with the most varied shapes, hand engraving, holes, threads, and an infinite number of measures to be done to ensure that everything is perfectly in place.

For this particular, further details are provided which we will see later.

    Stay tuned.

Pre-assembly of the monstrous Thermaltake Pacific CL 480 radiator and construction of the side deflectors.

    GPU support bracket realization.

To make the aesthetic impact even more aggressive, in addition to the practical functionality, I made the two radiator side deflectors.

Precision work for the simple fact that each conveyor is composed of two separate parts and then glued together.
Needless to say, the joint must not be seen absolutely and therefore a very precise preparation work must be carried out with the filler and the primer.

In the photos in sequence all the work phase.
Also note the support bracket for the GPU that keeps it perfectly level and also avoids the strong stress on the PC-E slot.

    Stay tuned.

The manufacture of custom parts continues.

In these photos we will see the process of making countless flaps and deflectors.

Note the realization of the two mini flaps in addition to the protective flaps of the ammo boxes made with hot bending of the plexy after having shaped and cut them (later we will see what it is).

    Stay tuned.

After a short break for Lucca Comics we are back at work.

Realization of Vulkan T2 heavy machine guns.

In these photos we will see the first part of the construction process of these custom parts.

Obviously the photos refer to a machine gun, but they are worth 2.

A very complicated job given the many parts to be made and the various details, needless to say that in this particular job the margin of error is equal to 0.

    Stay tuned.

The construction of the 2 Vulkan T2 heavy machine guns was also completed, which are presented before painting.
As anticipated above we will see the additional aesthetic details that I had foreseen but not present in the render, such as the anti recoil damper with hydraulic oil simulation at the piston.
The same detail was also made for the pistons at the base of the case (last photo).
A very demanding job given the tiny details.

    Stay tuned.

    Full speed ahead.

In these photos we will see the realization of the transparent plexy cover for the upper part of the psu cover. This detail, if you remember, was designed to show the RGB logo at the top of the PSU.
After having cut and finished it, it was polished to perfection.
We will also see the construction of the internal conveyor for direct expulsion to the outside of the hot air from the monstrous Thermaltake Pacific CL 480 radiator.
This particular as well as having a dynamic function also has an aesthetic function and will need to close the space between the rear closing bulkhead and the fans to ensure that nothing is seen inside the case (then we will see better what it is in final assembly phase).

    Stay tuned.

    Step 1 "last update".[IMG]

    Last update regarding phase 1.

Ready for phase 2 and very soon the first updates.

The construction of the custom parts is practically complete.
In these photos we will see some goodies and details that I hadn't put in the render, like the tapes of the bullets of the 2 machine guns.
We will see the stages of realization with the hot bending of the projectile tapes and the attacks.

As an anticipation I leave you with a beautiful gem,the bullets completely painted with airbrush and drastically transformed by how they are originally.

In practice they were finished properly before painting, scraped off the smudges, given the primer, the base, a coat of matte black and then sanded with the 1000.

Note the addition of the bullet detonation capsule (simulation), obtained with ergal gold washer and a chrome countersunk screw (in the next posts we will see the process of painting the projectiles).

The result was above my expectations.

    Stay tuned.
