Build Advice £1500 for a complete rig

hey guys,

a mate has asked for a £1500 pc build, he requires it for gaming mainly and facebook, emails etc.
hes not the type of person to settle for second best.

so i thought

I5 2500K
Msi gd53
evga gtx 580
8gb ram
256gb crucial M4
2TB storage drive
corsair ax850
fractal R3
dell u2412m

that all tots up to £1477 including all the offers available at scan.

i went for a 850w as he has expressed nvidia surround as a definite future upgrade, allowing him to SLI and get 2 more monitors. he likes the look of the fractal R3 but we may change it about. he wanted to get gtx 580 SLI into a micro atx which i dont think is advisable esp without watercooling.

any advise would be appreciated

 

Seems bang on. How much is the screen?

 

If hes going for 2TB, are we thinking 2x F3's in raid-0 or a single F4?

 

Was thinking a storage drive using a Weston digital 2tb drive or a samsung f4. Don't think there's any need for a noisy 7200rpm drive

 

Screen is just under £300. I have seen it on dell for £20-30 cheaper.

 

Upgrades would be a Asus xonar sound card but I'm sure I can get that within budget as it's not much

 

If he has the money to spend, I cant see anything wrong with it.

 

Anything you guys would alter ?
