Just wodnering what i can get, i was looking at getting roughly these specs,
    2gb ram
    1.6Ghz + dual core
    8600GT
    100gb hardrive+
Was pondering over the dell vostro 1700 with similar specs but it would be kind of heavy with a 17" and it seems more expensive with the smaller vostro 1500. Was just wondering if you guys have any ideas at all.
    Help would be much apreciated.
ive got £500 to spend though could push if i really liked it too £550
    Thanks for the help.:D

I've gone for the vostro 1700

waiting for dell to build and send it to me.

only downside I see is that is is heavier than others.

I only paid £533 for mine.
