That was just a 'for example', not a 'buy this'... would do for me, with a 32" super wide, a k/b & mouse.

    Aren't SSI 'boards for servers...?

But it's a GameMax, what could be better - like GAME TO THE MAX DOOD.

Also it's a mining PSU, has a squllion PCIe and molex connectors, and is almost a foot long

I'm alsso curious why he chose a 500GB HDD along side the 1TB SSD and 16TB HDD. Its just very odd! My only reason for going Intel is I want to see 5GHz with my bare eyes!

    SSD 1 - system/Windows
    SSD 2 - Games/Programs/etc
    HDD's - Data/files.

Same way I have my current rig set up; 250GB Windows//500GB Games//1TB data/files//500GB 'Back-up'; I know it ain't a brilliant 'solution' - with egregious points of failure - but it works for me.

5ghz only went so far. Then AMD came out with Ryzen 3900x and 3950x and it was all over. Their next plan? a 10 core. on 14nm++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

From todays leaks, looks like they're doing 5.3GHz 8c/16t on mobile! Which is fairly bonkers! The poor engineers who had to get those instructionbs performing at that speed are unsung heros :p

    3

That is what the ad shows. There is a 3 next to it, which probably means it is catch #3. IE single core boost, non avx, not sustainable. BS, in other words.
