The U2711 is 16:9, but of course a much higher resolution. Essentially, your choice is: 1x U2710 (16:9 - 2560 x 1440) or 2x U2410 (16:10 - 1920x1200) Well it depends on you. 1 monitor setup is better for gaming, as you don't have any multi-monitor lack of support (game is only on 1 screen, so the other screens still shows the desktop). 2 monitors setup will provide you with better multitasking, and it's 16:10. More and more games support multiple monitors, but not all. Also, your GPU will run hotter as it needs more speed to sync both in drawing, so, depending on your cooling solution, a bit louder system, unless you attach each monitor on separate graphic cards. Else then that, you have the U3011, which is the U2711, but the 16:10 format. It all comes down to, what is more important to you. Of and you have to consider that SD quality videos, will look even worse on the U2711/U3011, as, you guest it, needs to stretch it even more to fit it when you full screen it. To me, both setup are perfect, and excellent for what you paying for. It's really preference.
