    Update is pretty self explanatory

    SATA cables getting installed.

They sweep down under the top GPU cable.

The excess then loops round behind my bay covers.

:) Forgot about that nice eject button, very nice job on the colour scheme & braiding Oli :thumb:.

Knew there was another thing to mention, the photography has been top notch every step of the way, deserves mentioning every now & again :), I can only dream of having such clarity in my project log pictures :D. +rep for consistent awesome photography :D.

You have always been an inspiration (see project), but now you are my HERO.

I don't want it to finish because then I won't get to see any more of you're amazing posts and detailed work.

Quality as always Olly but it's a shame you aren't sleeving the sata cables even though they most likely won't even be seen from the front.

I like the SATA data cables as they are, I think they look cool .It's not every day that you see round data cables, most of them are flat.

You are doing great things with the cable management, it looking really good.

    THanks AnG3L :D

If you can fork out about £350, you can easily get pictures like mine, probably better to be honest! All you need is a decent digi cam (no need for an SLR) and a tripod.

Thanks subset :) I hope you can see inspirations from your project in mine!

 Your post makes me so happy :p Good luck with your project!

I actually really like the look of the cables sweeping down like that. That and Nils doesn't sell sleeving the right size for them!

    Thanks Nicksen!

:brrr: <- is that what you look like with your drool beard :p

Glad you like the cables! I really like the way they flow down :)

    Hi Oliver,

    This really is something special.

Your attention to detail is super inspiring.

The only thing that would possibly make this better would be re-routing the sata cable to the optical drive. Routing it under the drive would enable you to maintain cleaner lines. Tape or adhesive backed cable holders would do the trick.

I predict 2 days from completion to your pc showing up over at million dollar PC.

    Outstanding work.

Well you need a fairly decent point-and-shoot or you just dont get the image quality needed. But yes you have a point :)

    Thanks buddy :)

Wait until you see the power cable for the cd drive installed - It makes the data cable look a lot better. I can't run the cable underneath because it would end up blocking off the hard drives and would defy the point of the quick-swapping hard drives :)
