Interesting literal take on the subject, nice change to be honest.

I like the way the bollard frames the left, and is it the lens that makes it curve at the top?

I'm not actually sure tbh :)
I'm assuming your talking about the bollard.

I'm not sure about this one. It's a bridge, and it's blue. It's just not working for me.

This doesn't seem as well thought out as your usual photos, Yoda. The red life-preserver and houses in the background are distracting, and the cloud looks like it wants to be white, but is instead brought down to a muddy gray. Overall, this almost looks like a snapshot, as opposed to your usual work, which is normally executed very well.

Sorry if that seems overly harsh.

I think more cropping to take out the end of the fence would work well - the leading lines would work much better then imho.

Although I must agree with previous comments - compared to some of your other stuff, I'm not really getting anything from this, just looks more like a snapshot.

I like the shot with out the bollard and life preserver, its less distracting and allows you to focus on the converging blue lines of the bridge and railing. I also like the metallic shine of the bridge.

Where was it taken, the Edinburgh, Glasgow canal?

    Hey, nice shot. :hehe:

I like it, but how about cropping it so the fence looks like it stretches past you? That way it'll almost look like the bridge is continuous.

Nice shot :) How about cropping it to a 10x10px photo, it's just feeling a bit cluttered atm?...

I like the last version most with cropped bollard and life-reserve removed. Whether or not it fit the theme, I'm not sure, but I like the photo for what it is.
