    Damn nice! Well done.
Did you do anything to isolate the lighted areas or was it shot like this?
Oh and could you perhaps share a larger version? :)

Very cool, I love it! That is definitely not your usual night shot. The way those exhaust plumes are lit up by the city lights is almost surreal.

Very nice. It looks like there was too much taken out of the picture to blacken it, unless it was naturally like that. I think if there was more around the skyline it would look better.

Nothing was removed other than a set of car headlights.

Is the vapour from the tower cooling naturally, or is it just not lit up when it goes dark? It's a brilliant shot, that lighting is sublime.

The plant is the biggest in Europe so it emits a tremendous amount of light at night and lights up the steam plumes.

Nicely done...love the rising steam/chemical clouds in combo with the slow SS. must be one hell of a bright facility. Is this a pano or a crop?

    It's a crop from a single shot.

And thanks all for the positive feedback.

Awesome :thumb: can we have a high res version? That would make a nice desktop over two monitors!

Wow, the darkness really takes of the picture then. It looks as if the light should be above the plant more. Nice shot.

Very nice. I agree with what's been said already, and I don't really have any more to add. The horizontal crop really works well for this shot.

    Wow. That's gorgeous, yoda.

Sets a very, very high bar for the rest of us this month! I had a similar idea as there's a very very large electric plant about 20 minutes from my house, thought it might be fun. But I have some other thoughts, too.

I love shots like this. It really shows your artistic talents to find this and say wow that would make a great picture.
