POTM [03/08] Night at the Museum

    f/1.8, 1/60s, iso800, 50mm (nifty)

    This was my first idea for this months potm theme. Wasn't overly happy with the execution of it, but I'd rather post it and hear a few comments than have it wither on the hdd :)

    I like this shot, despite your concerns. B&W treatment is very effective.

    BTW I'm very happy for the positive comments. It goes to show that I may be a bit too critical towards my own shots now and then and probably also shows that I don't always know what's good :D It's a difficult balance I think.

    I think the color one looks good if you could edit out the two blue lights. (they are a bit distracting)

    Thanks. I decided on the B/W because I think it makes it more calm. In colors I find the lines and colors almost come tumbling down as in B/W the lines create structure. It's minute but still my reasoning ;)
    And yes I completely agree that the color would be better without the two blue lights as they annoy me as well in that version.
