    One of my people shots from Cuba. You might recognise him from the cover of the Lonely Planet guide to Cuba.

    Campanero - widely used in revoloutionary Cuba as respectful term of address (in place of senor); literally 'a revolutionary'.

    I like the pose, and I like the expression on his face. His hat and his face begin to tell a story about his life.

    I think this shot would do well in black and white. I would love to see the tonal range in his face and beard. Also, I wish I could see into his eyes. Being hidden in a dark shadow, it makes it hard to relly get into this guys life.

    Overall, not a bad portrait.

    I think it would look good in black and white, with say just the star in its original colour.

    Otherwise, its a nice shot :D

    no, bad! selective colouring is for heathens and people with no genitals.

    I agree though, lots of potential for this shot in a high contrast B&W conversion
