Please dont vote for yourself. You've got until this time on the 28th (3 days) and (although it's not yet confirmed) the winner might choose the topic for the next month.

Yeah that's fine, not like the results are completely secret anyway cause you can see who's in the lead. If you want to say who you voted for go for it. :thumb:

Edit: might as well say that I voted for olv. :)

I was seriously torn between ST8 and Coorz. I love St8's photo's in general and that shot is great but then in the end it came down to 'Which shot would I have on my wall?' and that would have to coorz. Nice shot.

I was really really torn between Pygo and Yoda. Sorry Yoda, but Pygo pipped you in the end.

Yoda: I really love your first entry with the blue prints. That's just a brilliant take on theme and so perfectly executed, too. Your other shot is also good, but it just doesn't quite grab me. It's well composed and a great subject, I just feel there's a lot more could be gotten from that shot. I also think it's got a slightly funny colour cast which I don't overly care for.

Pygo: I just love that park fountain shot. I don't know what it is about it but I think just a mixture of the wonderful colours, the contrast of the fore and backgrounds. I dunno, just something in it really appeals to me. So much better for the cropping, too, else I think you'd have missed out.

Your second shot I also really like. It's technically sound - I just WISH you could've taken it with a filter and slow-shutter, then it would've been no contest. I think I particularly like this entry because I'd envisaged something similar myself but was deprived of a suitable location in which to shoot and yours made up for it.

In the end it came down to the fact that I really liked Yoda's first entry, and his second was good, but a little lacking. Whereas I equally like Pygo's first entry, and his second also appeals just more than Yoda's.

    Thanks Hwulex :)

I chose the first shot over some others I took because of all the colour. It is quite nice, and I agree about the cropping. It looks great on an 8x11 borderless.
I really wanted to use a filter for it, but have none. And no where around me rents them.
I'll retake the shot once I get me the 24-70 F/2.8L and the filters.

Not too sure who I'll be voting for yet. I need to take a bit of time to think about them. Some of the newer ones I haven't though too much about.

Yoda, original, very professional, thinking outside the box.

No offense to everyone else because the quality was exceptional but once everyone did a building it sort of lost the innovation and saturated everyone out for me.

Coorz got my vote. Just a classy, polished, well thought out study of form, light and colour. Much as I tried, I could think of nothing negative to say about it, so it would be stupid for me to not vote for it.

ST8 got mine's, as it's very much a picture i would have taken myself. Great perspective and clean lines.
