POTM [09/06] Concrete Passion

Taken on the M1.
This is my friend who has a passion for cars, and driving.

 

A bit dark? And looking at that steering wheel i guess he's got a passion for cars yes.

 

Well, this is a pretty tough theme, and undoubtedly it requires some thinking outside the box. Unfortunately, this photo isn't doing much for me. It's hard for me to find the passion theme. If you hadn't told us that your friend has a passion for driving, I would not have been able to guess from the photo.

The photo itself needs some work. The entire right hand side is too dark. I'm not sure if it was deliberate, but it looks like an exposure error. Also, there is not definite subject. Every element is competing for attention, and nothing really stands out.

Sorry if all that sounds a bit harsh. It was intended in the most constructive way possible.

Ta Supermonkey. Obviously, this shot doesn't work very well.
I'm finding it a bit hard to get the passion theme too, as much as it is a good subject.
