    Just to update all you kindly people. I didn't get the job (ohhhhh), but the interview went well, and I've learnt a lot! Onwards and upwards!

    I went for a few job applications before I got one. I found that confidence was the key. I was always a bit "stiff" at interviews. Then I realised that being myself and letting a prospective employer see "me" rather than "robot clone me" was the key.

    Sorry to hear that you didn't get it. You probably know but you can contact them and ask them why they didn't choose you, it may help for future interviews?
    I tend to have a vague belief in karma, I lost out in a few interviews like I said, but then I got lucky and landed a job doing something I love doing in a place that is literally just down the road from me. It makes me glad that I missed out on the other jobs to be honest.
