I use a Haas vmc almost daily & I still wouldn't know where to begin making one.

Fantastic work, I'm looking forward to some vids of it running.

It's coming along nicely. Everything I see a CNC build I get so incredibly jealous. Then I start looking at my bank account.

    I could sell my car...

Wait. How will you put T-slot nuts in the table? It's blocked on both sides like this.

    It have 2 solution.
    - Use aluminum profile free nut
    [IMG]

    - Extend aluminum profile slot to fit t-nut (about 10mm)

I really want one of these, I could take my modding to another level with a cnc. If I can sell my PC Im gonna buy my next project and a CNC for sure. It looks like a fun ass project to build as well.

a cnc is not so easy to use, it involves more than simply designing, putting stuf on the table and pressing enter, it has like everything a learning curve. it is not an accident that for profeccional use u need a couple years training.

i can say that designing and building my machine was the easiest part, the propper usage and maintanance is where the difficultie lies.

It not easy like you say but not much difficult. If you know what it important to learn and what an optional to learn then go to learn.

For my first start DIY CNC machine i confuse everything but after i stop learn all of them and then make a check list to see what an important to learn and go to learn it for a bit just for know it what is it after that go to start design it or make it easy by buy some plan to learn it what the components it need , how they assembly together. So if you stuck for something that the one you need to learn about it.

Or see my blog and then see each axis build , how to assembly them , how them assembly together. :D (but if it not be a good guide , really sorry)
