A buddy of mine plays Guild Wars on his Core 2 Duo 2.33ghz laptop with 3gbs of RAM and a 320 gb HDD on Win Vista 32 bit. Whenever he plays a graphics intensive game, like Guild Wars, nothing crazy, he experiences 100% CPU usage no matter what. Even with no background programs running. Any solutions to this issue? Guild Wars forums provided no help btw.
What's the problem, exactly? Is the game running badly, is the laptop becoming unresponsive? High CPU usage when running games at high settings is pretty normal.
could be he's just running integrated graphics and trying to run everything up.. bet he jerks around in game- seen guys with rigs like that.. they look like they're skipping around anyways try with all the settings down.. check task manager- the game can run with integrated on a laptop, done it.. just looks bad alot like the picture above.. he's basically pushing the limits of the hardware it sounds like real gaming rig it looks like this.. here's what I see on runs =]
