Hello everyone, I need advice on getting a new monitor. I'm currently using a 27 inch 60hz 1440p benq IPS monitor which im kinda happy with.However i been looking to get high refresh rate monitor since most of the games I'm playing are FPS games and i really dont know if i should go with 1080p g sync monitor or 24 inch acer agon 1440p 144hz.Any suggesitions? my current build: CPU : INTEL 6600K GPU : EVGA 1070SC
Have you tried this first? Make sure you disable Vsync in game. That will give you a poor man's Gsync. Not 144hz obviously, but I wonder how far a 1070 could carry you any way. I certainly would not drop to 1080p from 1440.
Oh I did try that but tbh I'm selling my 60hz monitor for really good price and i will paying litttle bit more for 144hz 1440p or 1080 g sync so why not.
