The old computer that has worked as a router just died, and my dad said he wanted wireless network, 108mbps.
I know a bit about wireless networking, but not alot, and really like nothing about manufactureres. So give me your 2 cents, what do you think about it?

    I've looked at a D-Link router (DI-624 http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=6 ) and pci-cards (DWL-G520 http://www.dlink.com/products/?model=DWL-G520 ).
    Anyone tried em?

Also, the router only got 4 ports, whats the best/cheapest way to get more ports? just getting a access point?

Dlink makes some of the best stuff imo but youll have somebody come under this and say its crap...I use the stuff daily at work and I like it the best but Netgear would be a close one as well, which they also offer 108 stuff...

If you want more than 4 wired computers to the router youll just need a switch with an uplink port. If your just looking to add more wireless pcs the router can support +25 computers wirelessly. (The Dlink rep told me 235, but they also say it will reach +1000 feet as well)

    I have a D-Link DI-624 + 2x DWL-G520s and a DWL-G650, I get about 15mbps throughput across the network (need better antenna).
