    I would rather wait and see what DFI's RD600 mobo will do - a nice cool running chipset with allegedly amazing overclocking rather than Nvidia's heat monster Nforce chip

    well that was a disappointment, think ill stick to the plan of a gigabyte 965DS3. costs less too.

    sounds about right, though personally i dont like gigabyte stuff

    get a p5b deluxe or a p5b, if you get a rev 2 they clock like mad

    p5b-e does 500fsb out of the box
    and p5b deluxe does 600

    ..obviously if your mem / cpu is capable

    Personally, Id go for the DS4 because it has better PWMs, although the DS3 is sorta equivilient to the DFI 975 (not including chipset) and is still a lot cheaper.

    For my money, I'd forget noisy Crossfire or non existent SLI and get a P5B dexlue and a 7950/1950.

    that ceramic heatsinks interesting. Is the different coloured PCB for product differentiation or because green pcb's are cheaper?

    Probably a bit of both, although that's an educated guess rather than ever looking at numbers. Most industrial boards are green or tan yellow so bulk is cheaper Id imagine.

    Jeez this mother board has questionable sexual preferences... I am a filthy clam but so is the bloake who buys this... Shame DFI
