If I had a 120Hz display which was compatible with AMD HD3D and came with its own glasses,
could I hook it up to an Nvidia gfx card and use the 3D Vision RF station and the Nvidia glasses to use 3d???

IF you managed to find a 120Hz screen that has its own set of glasses, I would persome so yes, as long as its Nvidia 3D vision certified( stating they tested said monitor)

If I was you I would try it out particularly the Nvidia one cos its very expensive, very annoying if you find you can't bare it.

3d vision 2 infra red transmitter box has a connector to sync with a TV. There is a list of compatible HDTV on nvidia website but when I checked some of the so-called TV codes I was getting google hits to projector bulbs!

In any case u need to register and post on Nvidia forum in the 3d vision section. Someone should be able to advise you.
