    Gotta hand it to her, she showed some initiative and got a (presumably) free laptop out of it. Many people will probably try to copy her, but I doubt any will be as successfull as she at it.

    I wonder how well an overweight, balding, middle aged guy would have done? - or any guy for that matter - I bet he'd sell a lot fewer $30 beers. (although in San Francisco ...?)

    WOW this girl was crazy enough to etch adds on her laptop, then turn around a dis the people that gave her money. Sounds like one of those bumbs on the street asking for money then turning around saying thanks $Y*&$* this will feed my crack fix.

    If any one trys this int he future, thank the people after.

    No dis-respect intended, nice idea and all that. But it seems like begging taken to a new level. Like no longer a case of " Please could you spare some money I'm homeless and starving", but now it's " Please could you spare some money I need a new Hi-spec laptop computer".
