$1300 for gaming comp-need help

    i got 1300 to make a gamign comp. i want an x800 pro, 1 gig of ram, an amd 64, 120 gig of hd, and a nice case, any suggestions on wat to get cuz im not very smart :waah: (like wat mobo, wat ram, .....). i allready have a monitor, mouse and keyboard. please help.

    Then find a case you think looks good (try stuff by Antec, Cool Master, etc.).
    May need to buy a power supply if they dont come with one. Antec and Thermaltake make good ones.
    Last but not least, find a video card. Just read the reader reviews and you'll get an idea for which is the best for you buck.

    i think it comes up $20 short of $1400 before taxes + shipping. You could go with Socket 754 and get a somewhat lesser processor (a 3200+ perhaps). Personally i think socket 939 is the way to go if you plan on doing any upgradeing.
