So so tempted to mod my 360... But I think I'll start with my GameBoy Advance... Anyone know any paints that will not rub off? I'd love to paint it, but worried about it wearing really easy...

I bet that will upset a few people. Those that cant get Wii and this guy is one of the lucky few who did and strips it to put a snes in. lol

Should I strip my 360 down and stick an Amiga 32 in it or a 3DO or even better a Mega CD, i did love Night Trap. lol

I don't see the point in this, the SNES was a good piece of design in my view. So was the NES. They reflected the cartridges IMHO.

WTF?! I'd far rather see a Wii in a SNES case, like the mini-ITX in a SNES case. Then, as required by tradition, run a SNES emulator (or Wii's virtual console) and you're rocking and rolling.

I think the guy who made it called it a Super Nii.

    Much better name.

    Call it the SNii

I'd like to officially acknowledge that I love you ;)

I too picked up Monkey 1 and 2 on the Amiga A500+ and played all the games. Number 3 was good too, but number 4 convinced me that without Ron Gilbert Lucasarts should just let the licesnse rot.

Still, number 5 is supposedly out in 2015 according to Scummbar.com

But according to the article (the original, French one) it's not a Wii shell, it's custom-made. (from his own little hands, it says)
I like it, but seen from the side, the grey and white show clearly it's not a wii.
We are the knights who say ___ !! (monty python joke, in case you did not get it ^^)

Ok - Next language to learn: French.

Actually I need to learn Catonese first - far more useful.

That picture is hilarious. It's this sweet, shiny, high tech, glowing piece of equipment...

with a gaudy looking SNES game jutting out of it. And the LEDs...like "hey, look at my illuminated old cartridge."

    lol

Agreed, That and it's pretty obvious that it wasn't a real Wii, the case isn't even the same shape (the Wii has more angles and corners hacked off here and there) but in any case it's still an interesting idea.

I agree, we need a Wii inside a SNES. It is tempting, but the Wii looks soo damn good as it is.

i look at this and i wonder what the heck was this guy thinking? then i remember that "the french don't care what they do really as long as they pronounce it properly".

i thought the purpose of modding was to make a device more functional and useful. apparently i was wrong because all you have to do is slap a few blue LEDs in just the right spot and bam it is cool. :eyebrow: :sigh:

i wouldn't call this a mod, rather a waste of time.
