    (there's no fashion tag...)

I am contemplating buying a 13/14in laptop as my next laptop. does anybody have any experience using a 14in machine in a bag designed to take a 13in laptop? does it fit? specifically i am thinking of the crumpler bags. Dell do some very well specced 14in machines that you simply can't match at 13in.

I think you would be okay with it.

I've got a 14" Dell D630 and a 13" Dell M1330 and just managed to slide the former in to the sleeve for the latter, and its not even that stretchy.

I bought a 14" case for my 14" laptop. The case is a little too big TBH, go with the smaller case.

Just don't blame me if it doesn't fit. :p

lol, well, i already bought a new commuting bag that incidentally held a 13in laptop.

i'll try and hunt down an owner of a 14-incher and try to stuff it in to see what the fit is like... :worried:

the 14in dell Precision is what i am really interested in, btw.

about 6 months ago, we totally pimped out an e4300 for our CEO ... now i want. 128gb ssd, 4gb ram, iirc a 2.4ghz processor, led backlit screen & keyboard. 13" screen, and it boots to desktop on a domain in about 43 seconds. and gets close to 7 hours battery life with the screen on auto-dim.

the e4300 is nice, but i need something with discrete graphics. not for gaming (seriously guys...) but my workplace does GPGPU stuff with CUDA so i actually need an nvidia adapter. which makes things doubly tricky.
