News New Leisure Suit Larry game announced?

Comedian Artie Lange may have just dropped a bombshell for adventure game fans with the news that he is playing a character in a new Larry game.

 

The very first Larry was great. I wish they'd just do a remake of it with modern'ish' graphics but in a really stylish way. Sort of keeping the pixelation and 2d greatness while expanding the detail. And keeping the text input but enabling one to use tab to finish commands. I think it could be done pretty cheap.

Agreed, the first Larry was a masterpiece, then it simply went downhill after than, although I do remember one being pretty good adventure wise, think it may have been number three...

Instead of bringing out another Larry game (what would that be, eight now?) why not concentrate on a completely new adventure game?
