All the 5 1/4 inch drive bays make it look ordinary now,I liked the old designs removable hard drive feature :(

a case that can fit a 120.3 rad without any sort of modding? about time, i really love it that finally some company had the guts to do that.

I like the replacing the louvers with mesh. I know the sliding cover for the top ports is a good idea but I don't think it looks as good. I'm also not so sure all will like the absence of the HDD caddies. Sure they were not good for there in tended purpose but some (like me) will like the extra space once you cut them out for rads. Yeah the different grills at the top make a standard 3x120 rad easy to mount but no way dual HC's will fit up there.

Also what's with the quick release 5 1/4" hardware??? How many people out there are swapping their optical drives that often that removing a few screws is too much of an inconvenience.?

It's not for me, I prefer the standard one but it is nice to have options as everyones needs will be different. Either way they are great cases.

I must be the only one in the world who thinks this is still ugly.

I like it, the thing I really did not like at all about the old Cosmos was that cheap feeling plastic front door! I'm glad its gone, makes the whole case look better.

I guess I just like the aluminum construction this time around, and the Stacker-esque likenesses. With all those bays up front, I'm picturing dual 120 fans filling 6 of the bays (with a 120.2 rad...), a single optical drive in the other bay....120.3 up top for the second loop. I'd knock out the side mesh thing with the 200mm fan on it and replace it with acrylic or something. I do like this version though more than the original 1000.

I hate doors, nothing but a pita when it comes to actually using your drives. It makes me wish I had the new cosmos instead of the heavy hard drive cooker I have sitting next to me.

I hope a review in in order.

I doubt that! I was condiering one of the Antecs like a P182 or so as I'm really not big on *bling* which the cosmos looks like in the pics But they really are more sleek than what they look like in the pics so I actually got one of these instead. And since it was bought with the intent on modding anyway so I'm hoping to dull down some of the bling it does have. It does look like they are starting add more flash to it which I like less.

Each to their own I suppose.

Umm, Mountain Mods have been doing it for years. Not for any old 120.3 rad either I'll have you know ;). In fact it's purposefully constructed with the intention of mounting a Thermochill 120.3 in the front.

/Back on topic: This is a sexy looking case though.

yes, mountainmods cases do have native rad support, there are even some models that have support for two rads. but, have you checked the price on them?
a normal case + all tools for making a rad fit = cheaper than a mm case. they even make lian-li bigtowers look like a bargain.

but they insist doing the conections on top of the case. Is it a case to go under the desk? If it is they should make it look like a drawer or something...

They finally add a cover to the CMStacker's top facing front panel and USB. Been bugging them to do something about it.

    Nice.
