The long haired Sargent major (wife) has said she will buy me the monitior for my new build So if you had 150 quid to spend on one ( and no she wont buy one for 100 and give me 50 to the comp dont ask me why but she wont) Needs to be for gaming, photoshop and dreamweaver. thats all i do realy lol. Thanks all.
How serious are you about photoshop? Because to me a "monitor for photoshop" rules out TN panels ( =the affordable stuff) So is it just some casual editing or are you to the point where you can justify mentioning it as one of the main purposes for the montior?
i build websites for fun and do a lot of editing for the wife she loves her dslr, no way professional use but good enough if you get me, i looked at this http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/22-L...reen-Gaming-Monitor-2ms-1920x1080-200001-HDMI and looks ok. but sure you lot can find better lol
Sounds like you can get away with a TN screen after all. If you needed color accuracy you'd probably have to fork out for an IPS panel like the Dell U2410.
i just googled that monitor and nearly spat my beer out, how much lol, then again i started looking at over IPS ones and that is a midpriced one. Youchy erm some how dont think she loves me that much. If any one knows of one that also rotates 90 degrees that would be cool to, i like that for some programes. thanks again
Search the threads/posts by the forum user GoodBytes...into monitors in a big way and has very sound advice. (Second time in five minutes I have typed that line!)
Lol, have you seen his posts? OCD on monitors I reckon (in a nice way). And yes, I know how it appears, it just so happened that the two threads I opened basically were asking the same question - honestly!
