News Epic working on UT3 360 mod support

Epic hasn't forgotten about Xbox 360 gamers and is still trying hard to get mod support running in the Xbox 360 version of Unreal Tournament 3.

 

If they wait too much longer on this one they may well miss the boat.

 

Why would you wait for the 360 version when UT3 is now $30 on steam, wow!

 

Because you don't have a PC you want to game on but you do have an Xbox 360?

 

Didn't they use the excuse that the PS3 had mod support, so they wouldn't be doing split-screen?

If they do 360 mod support, wouldn't they have to do PS3 Split-screen?

You'd think so wouldn't you but as this is Epic i doubt they'd care. There excuse will be "but you've had it for a lot longer, what would you rather we had delayed the game?" which to an extent is a valid argument.

That's strange. I have it on PS3 and it runs great. No fps hiccups whatsoever.

Next time, you might want to play the game first before criticizing it.

Some people are real retards. The PS3 version at 720p runs just as smooth as my top end gaming PC does with an 8800GTX running the game at hi-res 1920x1200. Yes, the resolutions are different, but the experience is just as good.

The PS3 experience is just as good for this game as a top end PC that costs several times the amount. The controls are obviously different, but as KB/M are also supported, its a mute point.

Im fed up of people slagging off one console version vs another, most probably when they havent even played the game.

The only way I could play UT3 on split-screen is if I was playing on a 50" or greater TV on atleast 1080i. Too much **** going on for me to play....heck, I have a tough time playing Warhawk on split-screen sometimes on my friend's 55" Bravia.....

 

ya i agree ^^^ splitscreen sucks for shooters unless its a giant screen (50+).

 

I didn't like the demo, the game felt butchered. I'll keep away on 360
