The Cooler Master Hyper Z600 brings something a little different to the table with support for totally passive, single and dual fan cooling. Can it still perform without the help of additional airflow and just what has made Harry so happy with it? There's only one way to find out! Why are you still reading this?

    :D

    That cooler is huge.

I wonder if owners of these big coolers are like owners of big cars?
    compensating for something.... :p

I'm sure that cant be a good amount of weight to have hanging off the board.

(also Page 5, the sentance "For the asking cost of close to £35, you could pick also yourself up the still superb Thermalright Ultra 120 eXtreme " makes no sense :p )

Whoops, Harry's been writing things the wrong way ever since those pics... maybe the studio flash has blinded him indefinitely!

Harry always looks so happy when he's snapped for a review - is this always the case?

I can just picture it - Harry frolicking and skipping around clutching the latest shiny bit of kit, waving his youthful brand of hopeless optimism around like a burning flag and everyone else sat about morbidly telling him to stop being so bloody cheerful and bugger off.

I found this cooler quite effective - its easier to set up than the TRUE, albeit needing to remove the motherboard for refitting / fitting. Temps in my case were comparable, with the Coolermaster actually being a few c cooler. That was with one cooler - but the rear exhaust fan was close to the heatsink itself.

I'm guessing its down to the fact that it doesn't rotate like the TRUE does, you put the 4 screws through and that's it. I'm always knocking the heatsink when I'm playing around with the hardware - can't be good for the thermal compound.

I reviewed this for another site a while back, very impressed with its cooling power, but as they mentioned, bit of a pig to fit.

Considering its size, it doesn't seem to be all that impressive at keeping stuff cold..

Also, this seems to be a common feature, Baz always seems to be ecstatic in his pictures. Are you like that all the time, or is it just a camera thing? :B

I have a request - all photos of reviewed kit should now have Harry holding them, smiling in his inimitable way.
