Memory 1600mhz vs 2000mhz?

    building a system around a zoltac h55-itx. now whatever CPU is gonna get clocked (had Dells so/too long). as 2* 2gb 2000mhz ddr3 is £110 vs £85 for 1600mhz worth the extra dosh?

    no it isn't as you can overclock just as much with 1600mhz ram as you can with 2000mhz ram and the performace difference is minimal

    no cpu your looking at buying could reach 2000mhz ram requirement.

    975 is even boarderline if you were matching speeds.

    Thanks guys - just after I posted I found some pny 2000mhz @ play.com for £95 - so went for that. so the Zoltac is gonna be an expensive impulse buy!
