News Sony: Cuts won't affect game releases

Sony is pledging that cuts made to the Sony workforce and the scaling back in spending won't affect the number or quality of it's games.

 

Ouch. I wonder if Sony will be to afford the much-needed price-cut to the PS3...

 

meh as long as the team that made ICO still makes a ps3 game I'll be happy.

 

Seems wise to me. Most people can't tell the difference between one high-def TV and another. It seems like continuing to make content for an existing, already very powerful system. People are more likely to be buying new games than buying new systems for the next few years.
