I'd be quite interested to see how this fares alongside an NC10. Especially price-wise.

Seems the only thing differentiating all these netbooks now are the keyboard size/layout and the battery life. Everything else is pretty much the same, including the price. I have a Samsung NC10 which has the exact same specs as this new Aspire One.

SRP of £299 (inc VAT), stock available mid-February.

@perplekks45 - Windows XP and "up to 2GB of RAM" - that'll mean 1GB with the option to upgrade to 2GB I'd imagine.

    Sounds good.

I've got the aspire one and its safe to say one of the best netbooks i think, especially for the price i got it for (160) for the 120gb hdd version. Loving using it every day when im out, in bed, down stairs, or at a friends hooked up to a spare monitor and kb+mouse :)

I didnt find the trackpad buttons being any harder to use really, as you could operate the track with the index and click with your thumb.

Thank goodness they junked Linpus, worst operating system I ever used. Used it for two days before tearing my hair out every time I had to type commands just to install a piece of software. Good old XP, what would the world do without you?
