    Woot! Go Ubuntu!
I only wish there were more laptops that came with it since I'll be in the market for one soon, but it's never a bad thing to see Ubuntu gain some more exposure.

Linux for all! Way to go Ubuntu is right!

I've got everything clean, didn't see any of that, tho I've got noscript so maybe that blocked something.

Edit: Even with intellitxt and doubleclick and google unblocked, nothing of the kind.

I think the server sector is the right place to aim at.

Ubunutu on the corporate desktop is still a long way off in my opinion, yet lots of companies run file servers, dns, dhcp etc which all can be done on linux.

    So well done them

The great group of dedicated Ubuntu developers really do deserve this, and more than this. Ubuntu, well done, and keep up your fantastic work.

Well, I'm a bit contra this... Debian, ok, but not Ubuntu. "Linux is for everyone", but Ubuntu is too much bloat to put on a server...

Have you tried Ubuntu Server? It's a clean install - comparable to a default Debian Lenny install. No GUI, no bloat whatsoever.

I agree that Ubuntu Desktop would be ridiculous for a server install, but that's why it's called Ubuntu Desktop. ;)
