Looking good! There's too few mat/resin mods on BiT - so I'll keep an eye on this one! Sub'd
I'm interested. Will follow this one, the sketches look promising.
I'm going to buy me one of this boards sooner or later.
Yet another mini-ITX convert!
This way leads to the Dark Seid. Soon you will be looking at 'things' to put ITX into.
"What if, How about, Suppose"
/end Sarcasm (I have to find a matching end emote)
The sketchups are nice, the board choice is excellent, and the color is perfect
Nice choice on using fibreglass
Project: Silent Fibreglass PC
Also interested in the fibreglass part - I'm watching you
Looks cool! I must be sleepy. I tried to read the cans. The Zotac is a pretty sweet board too.
nice one. how are you gonna go about with the fibreglass? plug and mold? or just layer it over a part, and pull out?
This looks interesting. I'll be watching this as well.
yes, im fairly familiar with the processes of fibreglassing.
seems like a good plan, because you are only making one (?) it works well.
for the finish are you just going to bondo the whole thing?
make sure you polish that mold at least 6 times. it really sucks when you build the mold, and get it stuck in the fibreglass, because you were being lazy applying the wax.
The old case looks great, how come I haven't seen it before?! Stop hiding your fine mods, Finns!
Working with fibreglass is really satisfying, just don't inhale too much of the fumes
Nice work on the aluminum.
Like the color also, my fav one
Have some reps...
but then how will you get high?
Awesome work so far
how big is it going to be? doesn't look much bigger than the board itself.
That thing looks good all by itself, can't wait to see the shell as well!
Very clean design!
I'm intersted in the fiberglass process too.
What are the internal dimensions of the case?
"The measurements of the aluminium-body are 196x196x75mm."
"And it's freaking sturdy aswell with the 2mm aluminium in use"
Do the maths.
