I take it they haven't got a 5870 folding yet then?

From the scores I would guess that 2x 5770 in crossfire would be around the same performance or even beat it and still save you the best part of £100.

But as I tnd to upgrade my GPU only every couple of years or even longer, I think I would still wait an extra few months to see what nVidia brings to the party.

Good to see at least one boardpartner offers alternate, quieter (and superior) cooling.
Well worth getting (if you get the one that's only 11pounds more)

2x5770...yeah maybe, but a single core setup will work for you in every game, while crossfire (or SLI really) is selective.

Love the look of that cooler, if i wasn't afraid of ATi cards i'd consider buying one of these.

I totally agree... I find it beyond reason to spend anything over £150 on a GPU as games just don't need it at 16x10, which is the native res of my 22" and a single decent GPU would most likely be the way I would go.

If only the cards actually existed. The fastest GPU one can buy right now off the shelf is something like 5750... Sigh.

I have a request. Is it possible to make some benchmarks on a AMD configuration. Not everyone can afford a top of the line Intel I7 rig see. It would be nice for the middle man among us to see how it hold up on this.

that is if you can hear this one coming. ATI should have their backs against the wall more often.

does nvidia need some viagara to get their fermi's out? i dont wanna pay $400 for a 5870 =D=

Sounds good. It seems these are the only ones that come in stock before disappearing again, so I might grab it when it appears next.
