Hello this is Asus, if you are having a problem with your cpu, press 1, your ram, press 2, your gpu, press 3. *presses 3*,
"Uhhh nothings happening on my screen"
Have you turned your computer on sir
    "yah"
"have you turned your monitor on sir"
    "yah yah"
"Have you connected your monitor to your graphics card"

:D Best job in the world ;)

There's no minimum age, you must be however legally entitled to work in the UK. :)

You missed one vital step: Have you tried turning it off and on again? ;D

Not a bad job for the right person though. I'm sure there's enthusiasts who would love to jump in on this.

As a plus side, you'll get to see and play with, all the latest kit before anybody else. :)

Hm. Sounds roughly similar to what I do now, on a part time basis, and at home.

    Applied!

Not necessarily a requirement, but you'll be expected to make your own way to our offices each day.

I'd love to work with ASUS, but where I work at the present allows me to play with more scientific toys, so I'll stay put.

Would love to but I don't own a car. And its like 1h 20min drive on the M25 from here. And on the train it would be even longer..about 1h 45mins. I couldn't face that commute everyday. :(

Heh, if it was a little closer I'd be very tempted - I'm already a technical support analyst / systems administrator, and would like to try my hand in slightly more hardware based waters at some point...

But I can't afford to relocate, especially with my lady thinking of going to uni. Good luck to all who apply though...

I would love to work for a major manufacturer (without leaving the UK) or a site/magazine like custompc/bit-tech, but I'm 16 and intend to study related subjects at ALevel, and a MEng in Electronic Eng. with Computer Science. I also think I'd rather be working as a designer/tester for the components rather than support..

But I presume this is a full time occupation and not available as a Saturday job?! :p
