1866mhz DDR3 with 10-10-10-27 timings or 2133 DDR3 with 11-11-11-30 timings? Which is better? I feel like my PC loaded the desktop faster when I had 2133 running. Kingston HyperX T1 (the pair I have overclock to 1866 10-10-10-27 from 1600mhz) Kingston HyperX Predator
As far as I am aware, you'll see Very little difference in the real world and only really worth upgrading if you are benching. If you already own the faster ram use it, if not, I wouldn't spend the cash tbh.
You wont be able to tell the difference, I would just go on price, although if you have an APU, they seem to gain more of a performance benefit from higher frequency ram.
I figured I wouldn't actually notice anything but I was just wondering which one would technically be better seeing as how I own both. I'll just stick with the faster RAM. Thanks
The only noticeable difference is when you are using integrated graphics like the a10 5800k: http://hexus.net/tech/reviews/cpu/46073-amd-a10-5800k-trinity-needs-faster-ram/ hope that helps!
