Maybe that these are the money Activision was supposed to pay to IW for CoD5...

as far as I see it..

    Guitar/DJ/Band Hero = yesterday's news
Call of Duty = IW is effectively dead. Other studios won't do as good a job with it. Franchise will die without IW to spearhead it's development.
World of Warcraft = ever growing giant cash machine

Eve-Online is the new World of Warcraft.... WoW is slowly dying with more and more of the dedicated players leaving as the game becomes stale and boring with no challenges.

No, they don't need it for EVE tho. They'll just be slave-driven.

You meant CoD6: MW2. Maybe if employers refuse to pay their employees they might get a profit after all, good management Activision

Ack, to hell with this awful publisher! I will stick to Valve and BFBC2's free DLC instead of paying subscriptions or premiums for every little part of the game that could have been better if a modder had made it.

It will be interesting to see how Treyarch approach Black Ops on the PC, WAW was average, but at least it had dedicated servers

I'm hoping DICE get some support together for competitive play on BC2 though, and hopefully at least one other developer will release a multiplayer first person shooter worth playing on the PC in 2010.

    Brink is looking interesting though..

One other first person shooter worth playing? How's about the new Medal of Honour due out later on this year? Set in Afganistan, it could be the new Modern Warfare contender. The multiplayer part of the game is going to be handled by DICE (apparently).
