    Opera have already done this and actually made a browser too

    Its a shame that apple just refuses to allow programs that are clearly better than the apple made ones. A full firefox mobile browser would make the iphone better, but instead they have to create a plugin for the default app.

    Apple apparently don't refuse apps that compete with their own since there are other browsers available (I use Opera). It would appear that Firefox just couldn't be arsed.

    The reason they allowed Opera is that the pages are rendered on the server and sent down, so it doesn't count as a browser in the iTunes T&Cs. Apple just like having total control over their devices.
