Just in case someone hasn't seen them yet willl post more pics but photobucket is not working Box Clock Info Card
I have some pics with the cooler on will post those once I get photobucket to work and yes it has a duel slot cooler
deffo looks to be a dual slot cooler on it. and the crossfire edition card is clock slower than the others ??? wtf are ati playing at, unless its a typo
ive seen the cooler on the card elsewhere..it looks the same as the x1800Xt dual-slot type...actually they didnt even change the sticker on the HSF even. and yes it is longer by a few cm.
Here's an interesting article with more details about the architecture and possible NVIDIA competition.
It's fairly stupid that the xfire master card is clocked slower than the XTX, maybe once yields get better we will see an XTX master. Still, this is much better than what NVidia are doing atm. This is released Monday with instant availability and is going to be cheaper+faster than the 7800 GTX 512, now which do you chose? I bet all those people with GTx 512s on order are kicking themselves!
Yeah? You won't be hetting your Sherlock Holmes badge any time soon though, coz two posts above yours [written two and a half hours earlier]...
its really between what they release next that is going to start my next/first project. in order to arange the case i need to know how the motherboard is going to lay out. but in order to do that i need to know whether nVidea or ATi is going to be the way to go. i like ATi alot especialy with my experiences with my 9800 Pro. the only reason i swapped it out was i was made an offer on a 6800Gt that i couldnt refuse. up untill the last 6 months are so, nVidea drivers were few and far between, so ATis dedication to that was impressive. so its really pure benchmarking numbers and cost that will help me decide this one, the 1900 is on its way and nVidea should be unveiling a G71 soon, i have a feeling that which ever one of these will be the one i decide on. does anyone have any pre release test results of either of these, other than the scratched out numbers of the link above?
Hmmm... I so want the X1900 XT :/ 512mb is the way to go. /Sells X1800 XL Edit: see http://www.hexus.net/content/item.php?item=4346
