I hope they improve the performance of the game, I'm still holding out for a DX11 before I start playing Metro 2033.

They need to sort the combat out. I found 2033 very atmospheric but the combat was clunky to say the least.

"Bilson said that the higher engineering costs that accompany 3D technology will be offset by the "unbelievably reasonable" price of producing games in Kiev, Ukraine."

    haha, touche

Though thats pretty impressive that the Ukraine is beginning to have the educational level and infrastructure to support technology/software development.

Let's hope the games don't follow the pattern of the books:

The first book was good, it had a new and interesting idea and followed the apocalypse pattern throughoutly. The second book on the opposite threw all good things the first book built up out of the window for a terminator-esque follow up story. Metro 2034 was awful.

If the game's storyline follows the book's storyline the game cannot be any good.

    Oh god i can't wait.
Although i agree that this game could have been alot better, it was still amazing in my book.

Let's hope its more sandbox style this time. And several more RPG elements.
I wanna see some of the back story and the setting within the actual station aswell.
